NOT RECOMMENDED!
In a normal shutdown applications and services are given opportunity to close themselves. This may involve writting data to the disk or updating registry entries. The fast shutdown suggested here will forcefully terminate applicatins and services with no oportunity for an orderly shutdown, This can lead to data loss or corruption.
This method should be reserved for situations where a normal shutdown is impossible. Do not be tempted to use it as a convenience.
